The second wave of COVID 19 spreading in India widely than the initial attack. More health care workers also get infected at this time. In view of the current situation, the NIMHANS administration provides a home isolation facility to its staff and students who required it at Infosys Foundation Dharamshala from 19/04/2021. Basically, it was given to the asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic patients only and it will be extended to NIMHANS Health Scheme beneficiaries below 60 years of age or bonafide students of NIMHANS.
The thermometer, pulse oximeter, and immunity booster medicine kit will be provided at the time of admission under NHS free of cost. There will be visiting NIMHANS doctor’s and nurse’s support to assess the condition of inmates. Food will be provided from NIMHANS canteen which will be chargeable or personnel can arrange from outside.
